
Melanie Kinney - Director, Client Services

Melanie manages the day-to-day of operations of a 40-member client services team noted as one of the best in the industry for its responsiveness, high quality results and approachable nature.
Managing a team passionate about search requires Melanie’s ongoing use of her expertise in talent acquisition, training, mentoring and a commitment to the development of people. It also requires her 15 years of varied experience in top tier management consulting and client services leadership. At IMPAQT, Melanie’s knowledge of logistics, infrastructure and organizational design has helped her design IMPAQT’s first class client services and standardize many search best practices.
Known for her articulate communication and savvy assertiveness, she is recognized as a client acquisition leader as well as a thought leader for search insight, having managed some of IMPAQT’s largest accounts prior to her current role.
Before joining IMPAQT, Melanie was a Category Manager in Indirect Services for the hi-tech B2B company Ariba, Inc. (formerly FreeMarkets) in Pittsburgh, PA, where she consulted with Fortune 500 senior executives in the labor, MRO, and corporate services industries to create strategic sourcing initiatives designed to drive cost savings and increase return on investment.
As a Manager in Accenture’s Supply Chain management consulting practice, she developed operational enhancements for numerous companies across diverse industries; including clients: Dynegy, Inc., Deutsche Bank, Corning, Inc., New York City Board of Education, BP, America, JCPenney Company, Inc., iBelieve.com, and EMI Music Distribution.
She has also coordinated distribution operations, inventory management, and forecasting as a Senior Logistics Analyst for global manufacturer Thomas and Betts Corporation
Melanie has a B.S. in Business Logistics from the University of Memphis.
